PM AGORA began in 2024 as an initiative created by EU Project Managers who felt the need to connect with peers across Europe to share the challenges of the profession, exchange experiences, and collectively find better ways of working. What started as a response to a real professional need has grown into an established space for development, learning, and community-building. Today, PM AGORA brings together EU Project Managers from across Europe to stay informed about the field, build new skills, meet and network with colleagues, and reflect on the human side of project work, including wellbeing and mental health. At its core, PM AGORA is about strengthening a shared professional identity and creating a collective voice for advocacy, collaboration, and long-term change in the sector.

The future of EU Project Management

EU project management is evolving, shaped by new funding priorities, policy directions, and technological developments. This area focuses on how these changes are influencing the way projects are designed, evaluated, and delivered across Europe.

Skills, tools & professional growth

The role of EU Project Managers is becoming more complex, requiring continuous learning and adaptation. This area focuses on practical skills, emerging tools, and new ways of working that support professionals in improving their daily practice and navigating changing demands in their profession.

Community, identity & collective voice

PM AGORA places strong emphasis on the idea of community. This area explores how EU Project Managers can connect across experience levels, build a shared professional identity, and contribute to a more collective voice within the sector.

Caring for personal and professional wealth

Working in EU projects often comes with pressure, complexity, and demanding timelines. This area focuses on wellbeing, reflection, and creating space for more sustainable ways of working, both individually and within teams.
